The SIGNUM is designed to facilitate system development for the 64 PIN devices, which takes advantage of the extended I/O and peripherals. Where a device with fewer features may only support one role or function, the expanded I/O of a larger PIN device enables multiple role to be consolidated and managed by a single device. Managing the consolidated roles does require competent programming.
